Business Controlled Assessment At Afro Caribbean Hair Styles

Business Controlled Assessment For my controlled assessment I have investigated an entrepreneur named, Asaya Marks, who owns a small multi-purpose business called Asaya Hardware and Asaya Beauty Box which changed on July 5th 2014 from Causeway  £ Saver. The business is both a hardware store and a beauty salon, the beauty salon specialising in Afro-Caribbean hair styles. For the controlled assessment I will be doing task 3, which states: Which of the qualities shown by an entrepreneur has most contributed to the success of their business? In response to this task I found a mixture of desk and field research; desk research expressing various opinions of entrepreneurial skills, field research being questionnaires and feedback forms expressing the entrepreneur, the staff and some customer’s views. From Appendix 1 I have become more aware of the importance of planning within a business- it allows an entrepreneur to decide their desired outcome for the business. Planning with consistency is also important (Appendix 4) as it leads to a more success and stability for the business; Asaya Marks does this by using forecasts often when planning which may lead to a more organised method of planning. Asaya Marks’ business benefits from planning as she can be more prepared for circumstances such as an increase in supply and demand in which she could have already planned a way to purchase goods from a different seller at short notice. As an entrepreneur Asaya Marks uses planning toShow MoreRelatedRastafarian79520 Words   |  319 Pagescounter- culture that celebrates and sees redemption in Africa and rejects the European values that have oppressed a society. Positivism and Effort-Free-Samples for Students-Myassignmenthelp

Question: Write an Persuasive Essay. Answer: While thinking about an unforgettable moment of triumph the first thing that cropped up in my mind is the date 15th December 2016. It was not only an unforgettable moment but the incident had also taught me a lifetime lesson. Before the incident had taken place I was totally a different person with a different belief. But after this particular day I really had a strong belief on positive mentality and hard work. For this persuasive essay the theses statement is- positivism and effort is directly proportional to the final victory. I have never believed in hard work or effort and thought these were mere terms and all of us are guided by luck ("Stanford Magazine - Article", 2007). The reason behind growing this notion is that since my childhood I have always seen people just relaxing and getting all the pleasure whereas others who indulged themselves in hard work did not get the necessary outcome (Frank, 2016). I used to keep brooding that why the universe is so wrong in judging people. If a person is working hard then he has all the right to enjoy a good result but as it is said, man proposes, god disposes, the worthless ones always taste the fruit of success. When I was in class 4, I had a friend who worked very hard to come first in class. He used to study day and night even during the lunch time when others were busy playing he was busy with text books. But nothing changed during the assessments as he could never make it o the top five students of the class. On the contrary, a spoilt and rich boy who had a f oul nature, did not have a polite nature, most disobedient and the prankster of the class always manage to grab the first position in class. The reason might be the preference of the teacher where the beam balance tilted more on the side of the rich boy. Gender and grade differences emerged (Ahn, Rodkin Gest, 2013). Since then I have developed the notion that may be there is no value of real effort in this universe. because family is what I care the most about. In the course of growing up I found the same thing happening in my personal life too. I am a family oriented person. As much as I love my parents, I have equal respect for my other family members too (Covey, 2014). Every family situation is unique and different. My uncle used to work in the plumbing industry and he was one of the most dedicated employees of the organization. You might think that I am taking the side of my family member. But that is not so as I am being totally genuine while sharing my experience and proving the theses statement. I think him as a role model and always wanted to be like him when I grow up. He used to keep himself deep delved in work so that there is no scope of complaint from his supervisors. The dedication and commitment that he had toward his work is absolutely remarkable. He did not even waste time in talking while working with the risk of getting mistaken. With the description that I have provided till now, you might have got an idea about my uncle. But can you believe that such a loyal and honest person can be terminated from the company on the ground of violating rules. Yes, that was the outcome of my uncle after serving the company for twenty tedious years. This was the last thing that I had expected from him but later got to know that he was falsely accused. These two incidents in my life broke my positive hopes and pushed me towards a dark world. The minimum amount of confidence that was present within me got shattered into pieces. When the crucial time came for my placement I was almost assured that I will also have to face such drastic experience. But my parents and professors tried their best to motivate me for my upcoming days. My parents always found new ways to cheer me up such as taking me out for movies or dinner. But I was not being able to come out of the shocking instances of my two near and dear ones. With a little ray of hope and little positivism that I had, I went in for the interview that is considered as one of the top MNC. The date was 29th March, 2016 when I tiptoed into the room of the HR loaded with necessary preparation with my heart beating at the fastest possible pace. My heart was beating so fast that I felt the HR might also be able to listen to the lub- DUB rhythm. Well, the interview went as I expected an int eresting yet tricky one. After the interview I was told that the results will be informed to me via mail. Exactly after one month that is on 29th April, 2016 I saw my mailbox shining with the glorious mail from the specific company asking me to join from 5th May, 2016. My joy knew no bound after receiving the mail as it was the most wanted thing in my life at that point of time. On one hand, I was totally devastated because of my prior experience and on the other hand I was finding out that most of my friends are getting into popular companies. I was standing in the junction of crucial situations. When the ship of life was trying to withstand the severe storm in the ocean, right at that moment the miracle happened. I came floating safely on the sea shore. My parents were terribly happy more for me than my job. This is because they were so worried about my condition that my getting better was more to me than getting the good news of job. Now you are travelling in the world of thought that why did I mention the date 15th December 2016, when my opportunity knocked my door on 29th April 2016. The mystery will reveal at the climax of my story. So, my new life began from 5th May 2016 when I could call myself as an employee of a top MNC of the world. I started learning and did my work accordingly. I was glad to find out a number of smiling faces around me who were always at their feet to help me in any situation. Their repercussion allowed me to work with diligence in my specific field and I was almost on the verge of getting away from my previous depression. I started having more interaction with my colleagues and supervisors who appreciated me for my quick learning ability and always finding happiness in whatever work I do. Time passed in this way and I got accustomed to my work environment. Finally, in the 1st week of December there was a buzzing around the office about appraisals. I was excited similar to other employe es until 15th December. It was D- day of my life as I got promoted to the position of team supervisors where I will have to manage a team of 40 by portraying leadership skills. After all these years since my childhood and all the sour experiences of my previous life, I could ultimately taste the fruit of success as a result of effort and positivity towards work. Physical Education and Sports-Free-Samples-Myassignmenthelp.com

Question: Discuss about the Pessimistic Experiences in Physical Education and Sports. Answer: The study conducted by Beltrn-Carrillo et al. (2012), aims to investigate and review pessimistic experiences in physical education and sport in a group of inactive adolescent from Spain both male and female. The main objective of this paper is to understand and make the authorities listen to the negativity that these students face and secondly, the author wants to draw a connection in between the inactivity among the students to the negative situation they were. Public health and physical well being is a matter of concern among the authorities worldwide. There are several incidents of physical inactivity among the youth which has risen concerning alarm. This is the reason why physical activity and sport are important to incorporate in the routine of the youngsters. Performative evaluation among the young people has some serious negative setbacks like anxieties, struggles, and disappointments which further leads to pressure and depression. The methodology that was followed while collecting the data for review and survey is as follows: 395 Spanish high school students were chosen as samples for the study in the first quantitative phase and they were said to have been participated in four different types of physical activity during the year. The sample group consisted of students whose age is in between 17 and 18 years. They students belonged to 12 different schools and are located in different cities of the Valencian Autonomy. In the research process the authors found that the students who are usually inactive in the sports and other physically activities remember their teachers and coaches negatively. This is followed by the feeling of getting insufficient opportunities to play, athletes or physically fit individuals getting more attention than the ones who are less active and low skilled. They also felt neglected by their teachers or coaches as they thought they are less talented that the active ones. Inactive people did not like the per formative evaluation on competitive sport or any other physical activities as they felt excluded from the process and they though themselves like leftovers which was a direct cause of the behavior of the rest of the students and the teachers. There are also students who are active but leave a sport due to the behavior or the conduct of the teacher and the coach. In conclusion, the authors state how these insights may be helpful to minutely reflect on physical activity programs, whose effectiveness is quite questionable for all pupils who experience them. And hence, negative experiences in performance evaluation and sport activity promote inactivity. Reference list: Beltrn-Carrillo, V.J., Devs-Devs, J., Peir-Velert, C. and Brown, D.H., 2012. There are five specific topics you should work on throughout the semester and, although they are not all necessarily part of your class schedule, they are all important and very important to the final grade. In the introduction to the class, you should ask yourself one question: What's this class about? Make sure that it is a topic that you feel will have a bearing on your life. By starting your essay with this basic question, you will be able to follow along with the class curriculum.Another important topic to consider is the theme of the Giver book. Your essay should address the theme and cover it at length. You will want to be sure that you do not deviate from the theme. The introduction section of the class usually is fairly long, and it is important that you make the most of this space. You will want to spend some time addressing the students who will be walking into the class. The truth is that the introduction can be the single most important portion of your essay. The theme of the Giver books is universal. This means that you do not have to pick a specific genre or subgenre. Most of the topics will relate to ones human nature and the way people deal with their situations.Your essay should also explore what is unique about the students you will be dealing with in this class. It is much better to distinguish yourself from them and let them know you are interested in their world. Finally, you should look over the first chapter of the intro section of the class. Where Self Exploratory Language Is Best Used?

Where Self Exploratory Language Is Best Used? Many people make the mistake of using 'self explanatory' wording when writing essays. I understand this is common; if you do not realize what you are saying and why, it can be very difficult to get to the point. The more you keep in mind the purpose of the essay, the better your ability to communicate this purpose. The right use of 'self-explanatory' wording is therefore extremely important.Self explanatory wording is when you use simple language to explain yourself and that means that you do not use some of the most sophisticated words. When you write to an audience, this is used to describe yourself. For example, in a corporate essay you are probably not going to talk about yourself. Instead you will probably use terms like 'the company', 'the employees', 'our customers', 'our clients', 'our competitors'our clients'. This is easy to communicate, is short and to the point and easily understood by those reading. It is often easier to descri be yourself in self explanatory wording. So instead of talking about a specific item and what it did you may say something like 'the decision to develop the program was one we could make quickly'. This is also less confusing because you are not trying to say that you invented the program or did not try to develop it. Self explanatory wording allows you to explain what you do rather than what you do not. This makes your essay's easier to read and remember.Using self explanatory wording in essays is also more helpful than saying 'I am confident that'. People often say this and when they do this they are actually making you doubt your own ability. While it is true that you have done something very well and you are confident that you will continue to do so, you are also creating a doubt in your mind. If you want to make a positive impression on those reading your essay you will want to use words that reinforce your self-confidence. You are also less likely to misinterpret yourself if yo u use different terms to describe yourself. By describing yourself in different ways, you have more room for error and this increases your chances of catching a reader's attention. When someone asks you about the decision you took to develop the program you may say that you had the decision made by an outside source. Another time you may simply say that you were in agreement with the decision and that you just followed the decision. When you write these essays you should feel free to use whatever terminology you wish. Remember that whatever you do will reflect on you.In short, the more self explanatory you are the better it is for you and for the reader. If you use the self-explanatory wording properly then there is no reason why you should have trouble finding a good audience. It should not matter whether they are your friends or classmates. Some of the best comments I have read have come from someone who is not even related to the essay! So do not let your audience get away. Using the language you prefer will help you communicate your ideas effectively and to the audience it is important. So always consider the need to explore and describe. Often you will find that you are reading an essay and it comes across as if you know the subject. That is because you have explained it. If you discover later that you have not explained anything and that you only use self explanatory language in your essay, that will not harm your chances of writing well.

Indian Economy Essays - Geography Of Asia, Asia, Bengal,

Indian Economy India is located in the southern part of Asia and is also south of the Himalayan Mountains. This southern peninsula has the largest mineral deposits and the largest cultivable land in the continent. The population of India is critically large and although nearly all people are Hindu, some are of other religious denominations. The life of the Indian people is usually ruled by their caste system, but the system is not as firm as it was years ago. India has a mixed economy. The different elements of India, such as location, resources, and religious beliefs, mold the outcome of their economy. In the area that India is geographically located, the climate varies from tropical to extreme frigid temperatures. In the area closest to the mountains extreme temperature should be expected. The northern plains have heavy snowfalls. The northeastern part of India has a cool monsoon season from early December throughout February. A monsoon is a wind system that produces wet or dry seasons. If there are severe droughts, famines can result from it. On the other hand, too much rain can cause malaria. Also, the contradictory temperature of the northern days and nights fortify pulmonary disorders. The annual amount of precipitation along the southern slopes of the Himalayas is 60 inches. The timber in India is not varied, but is resourceful. In the Himalayan region, the cedar, pine, oak and magnolia trees are abundant. In the slopes if the Western Ghats, were there is heavy rainfall which give a home to evergreens, bamboo, teak, and other timber trees. In the southeastern part, the mangrove and the sal are very common. These two trees are hardwood timber. Other resources include fishing, mining, and manufacturing. The fish, forestry mining and manufacturing, that are of economic significance contribute to the Gross Domestic Products. Shrimps and prawns, India oil sardines, ducks, croakers, Bombay, Indian mackerel, anchovies and marine catfish are the sea life that Indian people consume. Even though the fishing industry is underdeveloped when compared to other fishing industries, it is a vital tool for the people. In the Ganges delta in Bengal it most important. The government has encouraged deep-sea fishing by constructing processing plants and paying for fleets and vessels going to the ocean. 59% of the country's 4.2 million annual catch in the early 1990's was made of the marine species. 23% of the total land area in India of made up of forestlands. The regions bordering, the Himalayas are the largest source for commercial forestry. The annual timber harvest was 9.9 billion cubic feet in
